This last weekend I got to experience Run,Drive, Sleep? Repeat. it was amazing. some of the things we heard offten were...
"get in the damn van"
"stubborn a--hole"
"Where is my phone"
"where are you, how much time"
"I can't find my stuff"
"what should I eat i am sick to my stomach"
"where did that hill come from"
"I need water"
"go to exchange"
"WTF wheres the finish"

and many more things were said... My dad was our driver and he was AMAZING it was so nice to have him. Thanks Amy, Taunya, Jenny, Missy, Lisa and all of van 2 for running this year, I hope we made some good memories and will do it again next year.

The kids had a blast playing soccer this spring. The weather was horriable, but that didn't stop them from playing.. Good Job Alexis and Kolbe!!!

Kolbe has grown up alot since last year. He started his first year preschool at Little Learners in Lewiston. His teacher was Teacher Lyndsey. She was FABULOUSE. He absolutly loved her. she did amazing things with the kids. He never fought me once to go to school. he was excited to go each time!! He has learned to write his names and can recognize all the alphabet letters. Now we just need to work on the sounds. He LOVES being in lewiston, he gets to go and feed cows with grandpa. He knows exactly what to do. He loved to play with his cousin Denver each week and other friends too. BOth the kids have made such good friends here and that makes me happy.. He was able to play soccer this spring =) I was the coach... He was AWESOME.. he scored half the goals and was faster than everybody else. he really had a good time and can't wait to play next year. We are so proud of him and all that he has learned. He is super cute with his little sister and helps me out all day with her. Kolbe and I like to play the WII in the afternoons when Rylee is asleep and Alexis is at school. Kolbe has learned to whistle and that is all he does all day long!! his nickname is now "whistler" Kolbe had his first year of Tavacii. THe concerts were much more exciting with him in the show. It was hilarious. He stole the show!!! we had so much fun watching him. This spring concert he had a speaking part. he was so brave and stood there and did his part and spoke very clearly and loud so everyone could here him, I was so proud of him.... He loves to sing, but mostly play anything with a ball involved. He Rocks. ALso this past winter I taught Kolbe how to ski, by the end of the season he was doing it all by himself. I treated ALexis and Kolbe to Deer Valley and that was alot of fun. They have no idea how lucky they are to go there!! I had a great time with my kids at the Beav. We already have our passed for next year and can't wait!!

Alexis is growing up super fast. she is very tall for her age! She just finished Kindergarten and had lots of fun this year. Her favorite part about Kindergarten was she got to ride the bus (she thought she was hot stuff) and she loved recess. Alexis had her first crush =) it was hilarious... His name was benjamin. there is a story about him.. she was telling her cousin Ashley about this boy and alexis says, his name is Benjamin but I call him Ben and he calls me cupcake!! HAHAHAH we have luaghed over that story all year. Then we found out that they were engaged and going to get married... Finally Rich had to sit her down and talk to her about boys, it has been fun to see her grow up and learn lots. She learned how to read and loves to read everynight. This spring she played soccer, we were alittle bit nervous, but she had a blast and was sad to have the season end. Her team was awesome,she met some new friends and there team was undefeated!!! Alexis scored a couple goals, and had the chance to play goalie. she picked up on the game fast and did very well. We are so proud of her. Now summer is here and we will be doing swimming and maybe some soccer camps. ALso Alexis did Tavacii again this year and was fabulous... she new every word to every song and was right on beat. She is loving Tavacii.

One Year Later

Well is has been almost a whole year since I have last updated, so I figured I would do some updating... where to begin... Okay. we sold our house in Logan and have built a home in Lewiston UT. for those of you, who don't know where it is, it is only 25 mintues north of Logan. It is beautiful out here and we are so happy to be here. Here are a few photos for you!! we were lucky enough to move in the week of christmas, Merry Christmas for the Halls =) The kids were so excited and it was the best christmas for everyone.
Next our baby girl turned one on March 7th. She is so much fun and has alot of personality. wer are loving her and can't imagine life with out her.. Some of the things she is doing is Walking (running really, non stop talking, Loves the cows, she stands at the windows and moos at them all day long, She loves her grandma and grandpas (who doesn't), the words she says is, here (with a southern accent), lexi, mommy, mindy, dad, daddy, papa, grandma, yea, and alot of gibberish..... she is growing up too fast and has a very strong opinion and will scold you!! we love you Rylee.

Alexis Preschool Graduation

Last week Alexis had her preschool graduation, she did awesome. I am so proud of her, she is really into spelling words, syllabulls, and writing words. She is so smart and ready for kindergarton. I can't believe she is starting school in August. Alexis is such a good helper, sometimes I forget she is only 5 :) we love her lots!!!!

well it is about time I convince my kids to go outside and play. for weeks I have kept telling them, it is to nice to be inside and they need to go outside and play. Well they are scared of bees. So dad went outside and he sprayed all around the house for bees. and YES it worked, today they finally went outside and ran through the sprinklers and had a blast. Here are some photos from today.

Our Newest Arrival

First of all sorry it has taken me so long to update my blog. I have been under the wether for awhile and I am finally feeling normal and healthy. Well as you all know I was also on bed rest from about January til the baby was born. That was a long 2 months. On March 7th 2009 Rich and I headed to the hospital, i was having contractions, by about 9:00 am the dr broke my water and we were on our way. Ohh i couldn't wait to find out what we were having. well the contractions got harder and more painful, so about 11:00 they gave me the epidural! that is when you are supposed to feel no pain and be really relaxed. well I had the worst pain in my neck and my head. I felt it immediatley after the epidural so I knew something wasn't right. well as the day went on I iced my neck and kept asking for pain meds. nothing was helping. Now it is time to deliver, once i was able to relax, I seemed to move quickly... Well at about 5:35 a baby girl was born!! yea a GIRL. we both were super excited. She came out with her little cheeks stuffed with walnuts!! they are the kind of cheeks that grandmas love to squeeze.:) Rylee weighed 8 lbs 15 oz and was 21 inches long. HUGE baby, but very healthy. well after thea baby was cleaned up and I was settled in my bed I started with the worst pain in my neck and head. I have never hurt so bad. they didn't know what it was from and why I was hurting so bad, so they kept giving me pain meds and ice. I did this til they realeased me on Monday. Well I was happy to be home but still in a lot of pain. finally about Wednesday, after Rich talked to Dr. King and I talked to my sister n law Jeanne, we figured I had a spinal headache, so I went on wednesday to have a Blood patch. I finally got some relief for the day! In the meantime, the baby was jaundice so we had to keep taking her back to have her blood checked. (what a week from h--) Thank goodness for family!! everyone was so great to help me and the baby out and for Jenny Hall to take my other kids for the whole weekend so I could have some peace and quit!! I ended up having two blood patches, MRI, and a CT spine. I just finally had to take more pain meds and just try and go to sleep and rest. That really helped and I was on my way of recovery!! Now that it has been 6 weeks. I feel like we are back on routine and can try and get cought up on things. Not to mention in betweeon all of this drama we are trying to sell our house YIKES!! Rylee is doing well, the kids absolutley love her, They are good helpers. Here are some photos of Rylee

Happy New Year!! so far it has been a great year. The kids are having fun playing in the snow and going skiing. We have enjoyed our time at home relaxing. Hope all is well with everyone. have a great new year!

Merry Christmas

where to start.... the kids have been ready for christmas to come for weeks. They were so excited for Santa to come. Christmas Eve we went to Jim and Carol's, we ate and santa came, he brought them each a gift. They had lots of fun playing with there cousins and friends. later we went out to the Halls and played with more cousins. Christmas morning we waited for the kids to wake up, finally we woke Alexis up at 8 to eat breakfast and then open presents. The kids are so fun at this age, they get so excited to open presents. Kolbe was saying the funniest things as he would open his presents. They got spoiled, we go the wii as a family gift and we all have enjoyed playing. Rich and I stayed up last night playing Wii Mario cart - that is something I never thought Rich would do. So needless to say, it was a great purchas and a fun family activity :) I have attached some photos from christmas and when we went tubing. we are having so much fun this winter and it is just the beginning. We had our first BIG snow day!! Kolbe couldn't wait to go out and move snow with his day. We got about 4 inches and it is supposed to snow all week :) Keep praying for Snow!!

Tavaci Conert

Alexis is in a singing group called Tavaci. She gets to learn lots of different songs and actions. This past weekend was her first concert. She did AWESOME! I was worried that she would be shy and not perform. But she got up there and she new all the songs and actions. She really enjoys going to tavaci and now she loves to perform. we are so proud of her for standing up in front of a huge crowd and singing her little heart out. To see more photos from that night. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOLBE!!

Kolbe's Birthday is Thursday November 27th, He has been so excited. We will go to the store and he will say to me, "mom, maybe I will get this for my birthday" and it was everything he touched he wanted :) He is turning 3 years old, his favorite thing right now is the movie cars, we watch it every morning and about 3 times a day. He loves to play with the cars we gave him. His favorite food is pancakes! He loves playing catch with dad and his big sister. He is really exicited for this baby to come. He will be a such a big brother..

Disneyland

This past week, Alexis and I went to Disneyland with the grandia family, Mom and Dad, and Missy. We had lots of fun. Howeever I did the stupidest thing, I got Alexis her flu shot the night before we left, the next day when we flew out to CA I noticed her face was rashy looking, I just thought she got bit or something, or her Halloween costume was irritating her. Well that night (Halloween Night) she looked awful, she was having an allergic reaction to the flu shot, so she spent the next five days on Benadryl and IBU. IT didn't seem to slow her down much. We had lots of fun, She loved all the roller coasters, expecailly Tower of Tare. She wasn't afraid of much, she did it all.

We were able to have breakfast on main street with the Characters. It was great to have them come to your table and pose for a photo.

Alexis was treated by her Aunt Jenny to Libby Lou's. She got her hair done, nails painted and a bag full of girls stuff. She loved it. Thanks Jenny.

we stayed at the California Adventure Hotel, and that was luxary. It was nice to be able to walk in and out of your hotel all day, and go let the girls take a break when they needed. again thanks Jenny and Jeff for lining this up:) It was a fabulous girls trip. Something that needs to be repeated each year.

Rich Melinda Alexis Kolbe Hall

Hall Family-

We live in Loagn, UT currently a family of four, we are expecting our third in March.

Rich is currently working for IHC and is very successful in his career, He manages acceleration, Physical therapy, Canyon View Orthapedic, and many more. He loves to cover any athletic event including Rodeos. I am so proud of him and all that he has done for our Family. He is a great dad. Rich is very interactive with the kids and loves to rough house with them. He especially enjoys taking us all to the athletic events :)

Melinda - I am a stay at home mom YIKES! it is very busy, 24/7 I also teach at Alexis's preschool twice a week. I have enjoyed being involved with her school and see what she does. I love to spend time with my kids and most of all Rich. we love to be together as a family.

Alexis is 5 and is in Preschool at the Sports Academy. She is a very smart girl, she loves to swim, gymnastics, dance and sing. She loves to help mom out with her brother, she takes good care of him. Alexis also like to go snow skiing with her mom. She is excited to take Kolbe this year :)

Kolbe is 2.5 will be 3 in November. He is our little Athlete. He loves baseball, basketball and football and pretty much anything with a ball :) He is very active and very good at all these sports. I can't wait to put him in some leagues! He is excited to be a big brother, he is full of his dad's humor, very funny and just loveable. He also had the biggest heart. He knows how to bat his eyes to get what he wants.

Our family is growing, we had our ultra sound yesturday for the baby and everything looks great and healthy. we are excited to find out what it is, which will be in March :)
